The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Godwin Oshodin, has
revealed that no fewer than 118 graduands of the university would be
awarded with first class degrees at its 39th and 40th convocation coming
up during the Founder's Day Ceremonies of the institution.
He further revealed that out of a total of 19,472 graduands from the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic sessions, 16,076 would bag first degrees while 130 would be awarded with doctorate degrees.
The award of certificates, diplomas and first degrees, which would hold on November 20, would be preceded by a convocation lecture to be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of Lancaster University, Professor Mark Smith.
