2016/2017 KWASU Admission Into Law Degree Programmes (Direct Entry) Update

This is to inform all that the Kwara State University invites application from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Law Degree Programmes in 2016/2017 Academic Session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
General Admission requirements into the programmes are as follows:

Direct Entry Common Law
Direct entry admission will be given to candidates who have first degree from KWASU or any other recognized Institutions; Candidates must also fulfill the Ordinary Level requirements of five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other two Arts or Social Sciences subjects in not more than two(2) sittings.

1,099 Students Graduate as KWASU Produces 23 First Class

 

This is to inform you that the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Prof. Abdul Rasheed Na’Allah has disclosed that the institution will at its 4th convocation ceremony graduate a total number of 1,099 students.

He made this known during a pre-convocation press conference in malete.

It was gathered that 23 students will bag first class degrees during the event which comes up June 4th, 2016.

He disclosed that the university has improved in the area of research and creating employment. That in the next one year, KWASU will create room for undergraduate researchers to share their ideas with

2015/2016 KWASU Supplementary Admission List Is Now Released

This is to inform you that the underlisted candidates are successful in our Post-UTME Test and have been shortlisted to attend Admission Screening Exercise at Kwara State University, Malete.

The candidates are expected to download and complete the screening form placed on the University's website by clicking here. The completed screening form should be brought along with the candidates' original and photocopies of Credentials and Certificates of State/Local Government Citizenship.

The screening exercise has been scheduled to hold from Monday 14th - Friday 18th, 2015 in the University Auditorium, Malete, at 10.00am daily.

Admitted candidates are advised to check if their admission has reflected on JAMB's website . This document authenticates your admission.

KWASU- Admission Into ICT 2014/2015

The Diploma Programme in Information and communication technology is a 15month accelerated (no break) program leading to the award of the Diploma in Information and Communication Technology with specialization in courses as listed below. Upon completion graduates may work as professionals in various industries while others may choose to proceed for the Degree Programme at the Kwara State University via direct entry to 200 Level in their chosen specialization.

This program is designed to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by advances in information technology, mass communication and business information technologies respectively. The program provides breadth of knowledge and skills in the information technology (IT) area for application in a business context, as well as the opportunity for you to specialize and

KWASU New Policy on 2014/2015 Hostel Allocation

The University has instituted a policy of 100 percent accommodation for all undergraduate students to be implemented as more housing become available

All Freshers (100 and 200 Direct Entry) and all 400 (excluding Agric and Engineering) and 500 Level students are given automatic accommodation in all our control and managed hostel (KWASU and PPP Hostel).

Because of the current insufficient hostels, the remaining allocation will be carried out electronically to 200, 300 and 400 Levels (Agric and Engineering) students.

All allotees must pay within two (2) weeks of this allocation. Failure which would mean floating the University policy. This will eventually result in heavy penalty.

Students so allocated must apply to student affairs for any exception within the same period. This item (5) is applicable to 200,300 and
