MUST KNOW: JAMB Bans Use of Wrist Watches And Pens In 2018 UTME

Latest news report have it that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has has disclosed that it will ban the use of wrist watches and pens during the conduct of its 2018 test.

Base on report the board’s Registrar, Is’haq Oloyede disclosed this when speaking to newsmen at a one-day sensitisation workshop for Computer Based Test, CBT, centre owners on Wednesday in Lagos.

Current report reveals that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has provided steps candidates who are not satisfied with the outcome of their result can apply for their answer scripts to be remarked.

How to know if you are Re-Writing JAMB Supplementary Exam on July 1st

Current news update as JAMB has concluded all plans to write the Supplementary Exam for specific students on July 1st, 2017. The JAMB Head of Media and Information, Fabian Benjamin, said this in an interview in Lagos.

All those who will be re-writing their exams will be informed via 3 main channels as follows;

Current update reaching us as JAMB has fixed 1st July for 62,140 Candidates to Rewrite the 2017 UTME. The previous results of these candidates have therefore been cancelled. This was confirmed by The registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede, at a press briefing after the board's management meeting in Abuja.

It is reported that the 62,140 candidates to rewrite the exam include 57,646 candidates in centres-induced malpractice, 3,811 late registration, and 683 candidates who had biometric challenges.

He also explained that the rescheduled examination was also for candidates of centres with mass malpractice, but the candidates were deemed innocent.

48 centres have therefore been banned from conducting any future JAMB exam, as

Fresh news reaching us as the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has denied the rumour concerning the deduction of candidates' marks in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Report has it that Dr Fabian Benjamin, the Head of JAMB Information and Media, denied the reports in a statement in Abuja advised candidates to disregard the rumour..

Information reaching us revealed that the Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has disclosed that out of the 1,648,429 million candidates writing the ongoing UTME, the results of 1,048,914 have been released.
