UI 2017/2018 Postgraduate Admission Update

Current news reaching us as the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Ibadan (UI) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various postgraduate programmes for 2017/2018 Academic Session. 

TYPES OF ADMISSION

 (i) Full-Time Admission Full-time admission can be offered only to candidates who satisfy the Postgraduate School that they are not in employment, or that they have been released by their employers to undertake full-time studies. Candidates found to have made a false declaration in this regard shall be asked to withdraw from the University. 

(ii) Part-Time Admission Candidates may be admitted to part-time registration, if they are on the academic staff of the University or can satisfy the Postgraduate School that facilities for their work as part-time students are adequate. Candidates applying for part-time registration may be asked to show evidence of release by their employers.

 (iii) Admission as Occasional Students Candidates who satisfy the minimum entry requirements for higher degree programme and are recommended by the Faculty Postgraduate Committee may be admitted as occasional students, but shall not be awarded a degree of

UI 2016/2017 Update On Resumption Of Undergraduate Academic Activities

Current news as the Senate of the University of Ibadan, at its Special Meeting held today, Friday, 23 June 2017, received and considered the Interim Report of the Committee set up to look at the remote and immediate causes of the 29 May, 2017 students crisis which led to the suspension of undergraduate academic activities in the University. After extensive deliberations of the report, Senate decided that: I.

 undergraduate students should return to campus on Sunday, 02 July, 2017, to continue the suspended first semester 2016/2017 Academic Session; 

II. the students should report to their respective Halls of Residence from Sunday, 02 July to Monday, 03 July 2017;

UI 2015/2016 Clearance Procedure For Supplementary UTME & DE Admitted Candidates Updates
