Kwara State Poly Post-UTME Screening Guidelines 2014/2015

This is to inform candidates participating in the 2014/2015 post-UTME screening exercise of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin that the exercise which holds from Monday 29th September to Sunday 5th October, 2014 will be computer based.

Candidates are therefore advised to adhere strictly to the following instructions below:

Kwara Poly Post-UTME Screening Exercise 2014/2015 Announced

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kwara State Polytechnic for 2014/2015 academic session that the institution has announced its post-UTME screening exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to pay the sum of N3,500.00 (exclusive of Bank Charges) for the screening exercise through the use of Verve ATM or Naira Master card online.

Click on ‘Register Application‘ and fill the form to have your PASSWORD and USERNAME sent to your e-mail address and click on the ‘Get login credentials’ button. Ensure that the e-mail address you provided is valid.

Note: If you get a response ‘No Record Found’ when you attempt to register your application, it probably implies that JAMB has not forwarded your record to the Polytechnic.

Goto to your e-mail to retrieve your USERNAME and PASSWORD for login by clicking https://kwarapoly.waeup.org/login
After login and accessing your profile, click on the ‘Edit Application’ to complete the necessary fields of the application form. Ensure you upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only where applicable. NOTE that the photograph cannot be changed once uploaded. Click on the ‘Save’ button to save your application.

To pay for the application, click on ‘Add online payment ticket’ button at the bottom of the page. Then open the ticket so created and click on the ‘College Pay’ button at the top left corner of the page to effect your payment using any Interswitch enabled debit/ATM card.

If the payment is not successful, click on ‘Requery CollegePay’ button and if still unsuccesfull, you can initiate a fresh payment ticket

Kwara SS3 Student Hangs Self In School premises

 A 17-year-old student in Senior Secondary School 3 at Oro Grammar School,Oro, in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Anthony Oyeniyi, on Monday reportedly hanged himself within the school premises.

Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened about 2pm on Monday while the school activities was going on.

Oyeniyi, who was the headboy in the school, was said to be a native of Oke-irimi,Oro, also in Irepodun LG of the state.

The classmates of the deceased were said to have become worried when they noticed that Oyeniyi was not in class with them.

Our correspondent gathered that a search party was constituted, which later found his body dangling from a tree.

Consequently, all the school gates were locked and people, except security operatives, were denied entry into the school.
