LATEST UPDATE: University of Ilorin matriculates over 11,000 students, warns against cultism

We are thrill to inform all that the University of Ilorin on Thursday matriculated more than 11,000 new students of the institution.

Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem, Vice-Chancellor of the University, who disclosed this during the matriculation, warned the students against engaging in cultism.

He said the institution had zero tolerance for cultism because it had destroyed the lives of some youths in the country.

I could remember vividly what you said few weeks after the conclusion of this year's post-utme .

BREAKING: UNILORIN Produces 69 First Class As 6,710 Students Graduate

Current news reaching us has it that the University of Ilorin, during its 31st convocation ceremony which coincided with the 40th anniversary of the institution graduated a total number of 6,710 students.

According to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali, 1,392 bagged Second Class (Upper Division), 2,884 got Second Class (lower division), adding that 932 were awarded Third Class while 82 got Pass.

The 2015/2016 UNILORIN Post-UTME 65,000 Candidates To Participate

We are to inform all the University of Ilorin has disclosed that about 65,000 candidates will be participating in the institution’s post-UTME exercise which kicks off today.

According to a statement released by the Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs of the institution, Mr Kunle Akogum, candidates are advised to come along with the printed copies of their screening schedule to the screening venue.

University of Ilorin Expel 3 Students Over Internet & ATM Fraud

The University of Ilorin on Tuesday said it had expelled three undergraduate students for  internet fraud and theft.

The institution also reprimanded 40 other students of the institution for violating the university’s dress  code.

It said Adeyemi Daniel Oluwaseyi of the Basic Medical Sciences was found guilty of unlawfully taking possession of ATM card and PIN belonging to another student while Mkperedom Olalekan Okon of the Arts Faculty was found guilty of  internet-related fraud.

The report also said that the 40 undergraduates, who were  found guilty of
