Benue University Registrar, Bursar Sacked

Update As Benue University Registrar, Bursar Sacked
The Registrar and Bursar of Benue State University, Makurdi, Dr Timothy Utile and Mr Aondoakaa Kwaghfan, have been sacked.
The decision to  sack the Bursar and Registrar  was taken after the duo were indicted by the report of a seven-man visitation panel set up by the state Governor, Samuel Ortom to review the activities of the institution from 2010 to 2015, most of which was during the tenure of former Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charity Angya.
The Chairman of the panel, Professor Zachary Gundu, while submitting the report to the Governor last December, had alleged that principal officers of the institution were

BSU Makurdi Resumption date is January 4th, 2013!

As a result of the ASUU strike that has been called off, institutions of learning have resumed or are about to resume for the continuation of academics.

Among the institutions, Benue State University, Makurdi is set to resume on the 4th of January, 2014.

Benue State University releases 2013/2014 Admission list!!!

This to inform the public and prospective students of Benue State University Makurdi (BSUM) that the admission list for 2013/2014 is out.

The Management of Benue State University, Makurdi has released the admission into first degree programmes for the for the 2013/2014 academic session.

Candidates who applied for admission into Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2013/2014 academic session are required to:

- Proceed to the designated Banks within Benue State and pay a non- refundable admission verification fee of N400.00 and obtain a receipt with a pin. The designated Banks are: Fidelity Bank Plc, Mainstreet Bank Plc, ECOBank Plc, United Bank for Africa plc, Unity Bank of Nigeria Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Zenith Bank of Nigeria Plc, Diamond Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Sterling Bank Plc, Skye Bank and Access Bank Plc.

- Visit the BSU Website on www.bsum.edu.ng and click on ‘check admission status’ under the ‘BSU Portal’ section. Enter your JAMB Registration or application number and submit. Print details if successful.

- Proceed to the designated banks listed above and pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N5, 500.00 using your JAMB registration or application number. Obtain a Bank print out with a PIN.

- Successful candidates who have accepted their admission are to wait for
