Latest news as NOUN Graduates Now To Participate In NYSC And Law School in Nigeria

Latest news trending as the Senate on Thursday amended the law establishing the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) to enable graduates of the institution participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme and the Law school.

Base on report this means that all graduates of the Open University can now go for National Youth Service while those that graduated from law can now go for

News As NOUN Graduates Will Now Participate In NYSC Programme

The current news as the National Open University of Nigeria has received approval to participate in the National Youth Service Corps.

This simply implies that the graduates of National Open University of Nigeria can now participate in the 1 year National Youth Service Scheme.

This will is a welcomed development as NOUN graduates will no longer feel disadvantaged in the midst of their counterparts from other schools.

NOUN Director - We Will Soon Participate In NYSC, Attend Law School

Students of NOUN Benin Study Centre Protest Increment in Fees

Students of the National Open University, NOUN Benin Study Center yesterday protested what they described as outrageous increment of school fees by the management.

A student who spoke said, the students of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)Benin Study Centre are tired of this onerous ,harsh, detrimental increment of school fees.

54-Year-Old Emerges Best Graduating Student At NOUN

A 54-year-old businessman and father of three, Mr. Nyia Sunday, has emerged the overall best graduating student of the the National Open University of Nigeria.

Sunday, who hails from Enugu State, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies from the university, as revealed at the institution’s convocation held last Saturday in Lagos.

Sunday, a Maiduguri, Borno State-based businessman, said it was determination that saw him through the programme.

He said, “Like every other aspect of human life, when you develop a passion for something, no matter the challenges you may have, you will definitely overcome them.

“I worked hard for this and God also made it possible for me. Right from the day I enrolled at NOUN, I told myself I must come out in flying colours. I had first graduated from a college of education, before enrolling for the degree programme.
