The matriculation ceremony has been slated to take place on Thursday, 21st January 2016.

NEKEDEPOLY Awards Scholarship to Six Students

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Dr. (Mrs.) Cele Njoku had on the 36th matriculation ceremony of the institution awarded scholarship to six students of the institution.

The names of the students are Chidi Ifeanyi of Electrical Electronics Department, Nwosu Chinonso Paul (Public Admin), Ihekweme Sampson O. (Office Technology Management), Esther Chibor Ogadinma (Electrical Electronics), Okafor Blessing Ogechukwu (Computer Engineering Technology), and Onyewuchi Anthonia Amarachi (Quantity Surveying).

She however revealed that the institution receives fund from PTDF, TETFUND, NCC, NDPC as well as the Alumni association of the institution.

This is to inform the entire Polytechnic Community that Saturday, 12th April, 2014 has been declared Lecture Free Day for Evening and Weekend Programmes.

This is due to the 2014 JAMB examination which comes up on Saturday, 12th April 2014.

Poly Nekede: Apply for admission in Technology, Art & Design Departments 2013/2014

Application for admission into Federal Polytechnic Nekede has begun for the following departments;

• Hospitality Management (ND)
• Fisheries Technology (ND and HND)
• Arts and Design (ND)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• A Minimum of 150 Marks in both the 2013/2014 JAMB UTME and nekede Post Utme.

O'level for HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

Credit in Mathematics, English, Biology/Agric, and any two from Food and Nutrition, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and Home Economics.

O'level for FISHERIES TECHNOLOGY

Credit passes in Biology/Agric, Chemistry, and any three subjects from:
Statistics, Geography, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce/ Government, Physics.

At least a pass in English Language is required.
