Osun State University (UNIOSUN) through its Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning (CHRDLL) in affiliation with Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria invites applications from prospective and qualified candidates for admission into 2016/2017 academic session.

The Programme is designed to prepare candidates for consideration for DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION to 200 level of regular degree programmes through the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination.

We are glad to inform all concerned that Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into one-year Pre-Degree Programme for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess O/L, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE (NECO) or equivalent with a minimum of four relevant credit passes in subjects which must include English Language for Arts; and English and Mathematics for Sciences and Social Sciences. Candidates with deficiencies in their ‘O’ level results will be considered; but such candidates are, however, required to make up for any deficiency before the 2016/2017 UTME admission exercise.

News as Ondo State University of Science and Technology, OSUSTECH is set to resume academic activities.

It would be recalled that the institution was shut sometime in may due to protests from students over hike in fees.

In view of this, academic activities is expected to resume Monday, 12th October, 2015.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings or two relevant ‘A’ level Passes for Direct Entry.

This is to remind newly admitted students of Osun State University All Fresh Students are expected to make full payment by Sunday, December 14, 2014;  Any fresh student who failed to register on or before December 14, 2014 would forfeit the provisional admission offer.  Note: The payment of school fees henceforth is by Interswitch WebPAY Platform through the use of Interswitch enabled Debit/ATM cards.

This is to inform all Students in the College of Humanities and Culture Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has approved the opening of the College of Humanities and Culture which was closed down, following his directive due to Students’ Violent protest associated with looting and vandalism.

The Management has adopted the following conditions as contained in the approval, before any student in the College could resume:-

UNIOSUN Resumption Date 2014/2015 Announced

Osun State University hereby announces to the general public, Parents, Guardians and students of the University that academic activities for 2014/2015 session will commence on Monday, 10th November 2014, with the exception of students of Ikire Campus.

Students are advised to check the University website for full details of Academic calendar for the 2014/2015 Session.

According to the Calendar, the E-portal has opened for registration and payment of fees for all stalites on Monday, 3rd November 2014 and will close on Sunday, 23rd November 2014, while commencement of lectures for all stalites begins on Monday, 10th November 2014.
