JABU 2016 Eligibility And Registration Update

This is to inform all that the applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into full time ubdergraduate programme of the Joseph Ayo Babalola University for the 2016/2017. 

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: UTME ADMISSION
Candidates wishing to apply for admission into the University must possess GCE, O/L, SSCE (WAEC), NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with minimum credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one or two sittings. Interested candidates who have already applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their first choice University to Joseph Ayo Babalola University are required to:
a) Apply for change of institution through JAMB;
b) Obtain Joseph Ayo Babalola university Application Form;
c) Participate in the screening exercise.

JABU Postgraduate Admission 2016/2017

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissons into full time and part time postgraduate programmes in some Colleges within Joseph Ayo Babalola University for the 2016/2017 session in the following programmes:



DEPARTMENT OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
i. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Food Science and Technology
ii. Masters of Science (M.Sc) Food Science and Technology

JABU Produces 19 First Class as 1,044 Graduates

The Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), during its 5th Convocation ceremony held recently graduated 1,044 students. 19 students came out with First Class Degree. Among the 19 students is Emmanuel Adebisi of the Computer Science Department who emerged the best graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.85.

It was further revealed that 279 students graduated with Second Class upper; 614, Second Class lower; while 126 had third class.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Sola Fajana, while speaking during the ceremony said that all courses offered by the institution are accredited.
