Here is Performance Statistics for WAEC GCE 2018 Jan/Feb 1st Series Result Released

Current latest update as the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Tuesday announced the release of its January/February series of the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
This was disclosed by the council’s Head of National Office (HNO) Adenipekun who announced the release in Lagos.

According to him, 11,721 candidates registered for the examination, while 11,307 actually sat for the test.

WAEC GCE 2018 Jan/Feb 1st Series Exam Timetable Released

It is reported that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has published the Examination Time-Table for Jan/Feb 2018 1st series WASSCE, Private Candidates (WAEC GCE) .
The Examination is expected to commence on Monday January 29th, 2018 and end on Monday February 12th, 2018

WAEC releases 2018 exam timetable for private candidates

We are please to notify the general public that the West African Examination Council, WAEC, has announced that it would be conducting two series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidate from 2018.
According to a post on the official twitter handle of the council @waecnigeria, the first series will be conducted between January and February, while the 2nd series will be conducted between August and October every year.

LATEST NEWS: WAEC To Charge Extra Fee For Collection Of GCE Certificates Older Than 4 Years

Current update as the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has advised GCE candidates to endeavour to collect their certificates within four years of writing the examination as any delay beyond that will henceforth attract a custody fee. This was disclosed by Demianus Ojijeogu, the Head of Public Affairs Department, WAEC, Nigeria during a phone interview with journalists

Examination Malpractice - WAEC To Cancel Results Of Candidates Involved

Latest news as the West African Examinations Council, WAEC at the 61st Meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of West African Examinations Council (WAEC) approved cancellation of entire results of candidates found guilty of examination malpractice while subject results of those involved in proven cases which attract Cancellation of Subject Results (CSR), be similarly cancelled.

South-East Tops Chart Again As WAEC May/June 2015 Performance Statistics Unfolds

The latest WAEC news trending now has it that the performance statistics of candidates that participated in the 2015 May/June WASSCE Organised by WAEC was made available yesterday.

Base on the information at hand, south-east has emerged tops in the performance chart of candidates who obtained credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics as Abia State topped the chart with 33,762 of its 52,801 candidates getting five credits and above. Anambra State came second with 28, 379 out of 46, 385 candidates. While Abia State scored 63.94 per cent, Anambra got 61.18 per cent out of 100 per cent.

News As WAEC Appoints New Head For Its National Office Here In Nigeria

This is to inform all the general public that Mr Isaac Adenipekun has been appointed that new Head Of National Office of the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Nigeria.

This was disclosed on a statement signed by the Public Affairs Officer of the council, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu.

His appointment followed the retirement of Mr Charles Eguridu, the immediate past head of national office. 

Adenipekun, who joined the services of the Council in 1989 was until this appointment the zonal coordinator, WAEC Zonal Office, Ibadan.

BREAKING: WAEC Adjusts Examination Timetable

 
This is to inform all that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has adjusted the timetable of the November/December 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination following calls from Muslims that the examination will interfere with the Muslim Sallah celebration.

According to the new timetable, Government 2 (Essay) and Government 1 (Objective) scheduled for 2 pm and 4 pm on Friday, September 18, would now hold by 2:30-5:30 pm for papers 2 and 1 on the same date.

Mathematics (2 & 1) scheduled for Friday, September 25, was postponed to Saturday October 10, with Paper 2, holding from 9:30 am to noon and paper 1, from

2015/2016 WAEC May/June Result Has Been Released Check Yours Here

This is to inform you that -The results of the May/June 2015 West African Examination Council has been released. However the results of candidates in the 13 states owing the Examination council were withheld.

Giving a breakdown of the result in Yaba, the Head of Nigerian Office WAEC, Mr Charles Eguridu said “A total of 1,605,248 candidates registered for the May/June 2015 WASSCE, out of which 1,593,442 candidates, consisting of 864,096 male and 729,346 female candidates sat the examination.
