Latest Update as TASUED 2017/2018 2nd Batch Post-UTME Screening Registration Update

Current news report reveals that the Tai Solarin University of Education has commenced Post-UTME screening registration for 2d choice candidates.

Eligibility:

UTME Candidates who chose TASUED as 2nd choice institution or seeking a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 180 in the 2017 UTME.
Direct Entry candidates with A level /OND/ HND/ NCE/ JUPEB qualification who chose TASUED as 2nd choice institution or seeking a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2017 Direct Entry JAMB form.

TASUED 2017/2018 Post-UTME Screening Date is out

Fresh report on air reveals that all candidates that applied for the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) 2017/2018 Post-UTME screening exercise that a news screening date has been announced.

According to report gathered the screening exercise will hold on Thursday, 7th September, 2017.

2015/2016 TASUED Admission Clearance Deadline

 to inform all fresh students (100 & 200 level Direct Entry) that Admissions Office has fixed Friday, 8 April, 2016 as the deadline for all clearance formalities.

Therefore, all fresh students are hereby advised to ensure that they complete their clearance formalities at the Admission office on or before the expiration of the deadline date.

Fresh students should note that without final clearance and submission of files at the admission office, they are not yet bonafide students of the university.

Any student who fails to meet up with the deadline date of Friday, 8 April, 2016 stands the risk of forfeiting his/her admission in the university.

2015/2016 TASUED Part-time Students 1st Semester Examination Update

We are to inform all concerned Part-Time students that the 2015/2016 First Semester Examination starting with e-Test earlier scheduled to commence on Friday, 18th March, 2016 has been postponed by two weeks. 

The e-Testwill now commence on Friday, 1st April, 2016 while the e-Examination and written examination will commence on Friday, 15th April, 2016.

This is to enable all students pay at least 60% of their school fees and development levy which are prerequisites for sitting for the e-Test.

The 2015/2016 TASUED Supplementary Part-time Admission Update

This is to inform the general public that applications are invited from qualified candidates for supplementary admission into 4- year and 5- year Part-Time Degree Programmes.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The admission requirements for Bachelors Degree Programmes are as follows:

4 - YEAR (PART-TIME) PROGRAMME (WEEKEND)
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least Merit in two core/Teaching subjects, GCE A Level, OND/HND in relevant areas with at least Lower Credit or Academic Diploma from recognized Universities are required in addition to (B) below. Advanced National Technical/Business Certificate (ANTC, ANBC is acceptable for Vocational Courses only).

(B) 5 - YEAR (PART-TIME) PROGRAMME (WEEKEND)

TASUED 2015/2016 School Fees Payment Deadline

This is to inform the general public that the management of Tai Solarin University of Education has announced the deadline for the payment of 20154/2016 school fees.

The deadline is November 9th, 2015.

TASUED Notice On Payment Of School Fees By 400level Students

The University Teaching Practice Committee wishes to inform all the 400level students, who are currently on Teaching Practice, to make full payment of their school fees for the 2014/15 session.

Only students with evidence of payment will be supervised.

Students are advised to present their school fees receipt to the supervisor on demand before they can be assessed for the 2014/15 Teaching Practice exercise.

TASUED Produces 28 First Class Degrees as 10,899 Graduates

28 out of 10,899 students graduated with First Class Degrees at the 3rd, 4th and 5th combined convocation ceremonies of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) which took place on Monday, 17th to Friday, 28th November, 2014.

A further breakdown shows that 10,770 graduated with first degree while 85 students were awarded Master’s Degree and 44 students were awarded the Postgraduate Diploma.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluyemisi Obilade, urged the graduands to serve the state and the country at large.

TASUED School Fees Payment Update


New TASUED Students, who have obtained the O’Level verification code from Admissions Office, can now make school fees payment via the portal.

On successful payment, the respective Matric Number will be generated accordingly based on the programme offered and will reflect on the School Fees Receipt. School Fees for NEW Students (indigene and non-indigene) is N75,000 only.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into 4½- year (9 Semesters) and 6- year (12 Semesters) Part-Time and Sandwich Degree Programmes.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The admission requirements for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes are as follows:

(A) FOUR AND A HALF–YEAR (9 SEMESTERS) PROGRAMME (SANDWICH PROGRAMME) (VACATION)
Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with at least Merit in two core/Teaching subjects, GCE ‘A’ Level, OND/HND in relevant areas with at least Lower Credit or Academic Diploma from recognized Universities are required in addition to (B) below. TASUED Rusticates 20, Expels 6 for Exam Malpractice


The Senate at its 74th statutory meeting held on Wednesday 24th September, 2014 approved the punishment for the following students for various misconduct as recommended by the Examination Malpractice Committee.

The affected students are therefore advised in their own interest to please stay off the campus in order to prevent being embarrassed by the University Security Personnel.
