UPDATE: Some Withheld 2018 UTME Results Are Still Being Screened - JAMB

Many of the 2018 JAMB UTME candidates who initailly could not access their results were able to finally see their results yesterday.

UPDATE: Registrar: JAMB Will Not Reschedule 2018 UTME For Any Candidate

The Registrar, Joint Admissions, and Matriculation Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, has disclosed that there will be no rescheduling of exam for any candidate like the board did last year.

News as JAMB 2018 Sales Of UTME/DE Form Begins - Here is Registration & Exam Details


EDUCATION NEWS - Current update reaching our newsroom have it that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the sales of the 2018 UTME/DE registration form. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria for academic session beginning in 2018.

Sale/Registration Period

The period of sale/registration for all candidates (UTME/DE) including those from Foreign Countries is from 6th December, 2017 to 6th February, 2018.

General Entry Requirements

The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other Degree-Awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Enterprise Institutions and Colleges of Education are five (5) O'Level Credit passes including Mathematics and English. Update as JAMB postpones sale of 2018 UTME application forms

Latest news report as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has suspended the sale of the 2018 application forms earlier scheduled to commence on Wednesday, November 22.
The spokesperson of the board, Fabian Benjamin, said this in a press statement on Tuesday evening.

Latest news report have it that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has has disclosed that it will ban the use of wrist watches and pens during the conduct of its 2018 test.

Latest News on JAMB Printing Of 2017 UTME Rescheduled Exam Slip For July 1st Begins

The current news revealed that JAMB has enabled the portal for candidates rescheduled for the JAMB exam holding on July 1st, 2017 to print their examination schedule for free.

 So if you have been unable to receive an email or print the examination schedule via your JAMB profile, you can now do that via the direct portal for printing of JAMB exam slip.

UTME malpractice: ASUU wants owners of blacklisted CBT centres prosecuted


LATEST NEWS as the Academic Staff Union of Universities has commended JAMB for blacklisting 48 Computer Based Test centres used for the 2017 UTME.

The President of the union, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi,  said on Thursday in Lagos that the owners of the blacklisted centres should also be prosecuted.

The 48 CBT centres were among more than 600 centres used for the conduct of the UTME nationwide in May.

Reason Many JAMB Candidates Failed 2016 UTME

We are thrill to inform all that the president of Association of Tutorial School Operators, Mr Shodunke Oludotun has stated that the reason many candidates failed the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was due to the fact that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) used the wrong software to mark the exam.

2016 UTME - Man Arrested For Impersonation

A man has been arrested in connection with impersonation in the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Conducted by JAMB.

According to reports, the man was caught attempting to sit for the examination for a girl.
