Here is current update as all prospective 2018 Batch A Corps Members are hereby informed that the online registration has commenced. All qualified Prospective Corps Members are to proceed to the NYSC registration portal to complete their registration.

NYSC Update To 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps Members

Nigerian Education Updates is to inform the general public and all concerned 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps members who have spelling mistakes on their names that they can still apply for correction on their dashboards on the NYSC portal.

According to report however, those who need addition of name will have to go back to their institutions of graduation, who will in turn formally communicate such request to the NYSC.

Latest update as NYSC Board is to start posting corpers to farms

Here is latest news update as gathered from Brig-Gen. Suleiman Kazaure, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ), said on Monday that the scheme would soon begin posting of corps members to farms, The Guardian reports.
Kazaure said this in an interview with newsmen during his official visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Sagamu, Ogun.

The report reaching us revealed that he said the move to deploy corps members in farms was in line with the agricultural development programme of the NYSC.
According to him, the NYSC has concluded preparations to begin the posting at the conclusion of the three-week orientation exercise.
He said that Bauchi, Oyo, Kebbi and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, had been earmarked for the pilot phase.

Latest news as NYSC advises prospective corps members on vaccination against meningitis


Fresh news report as the National Youth Service Corps has advised intending corps members mobilised for service to be vaccinated against meningitis before reporting to the orientation programme which starts next Tuesday.


It is gathered that the Coordinator of the NYSC in Osun State, Mr. Emmanuel Attah, said this in an interview with our correspondent in Osogbo on Saturday

Current NYSC news which has it that all concerned Corps members are advised to disregard the screen shot of a purported tweet from the NYSC being circulated online, which says those on relocation are to collect their Certificate of National Service from their original states of deployment beginning with the 2015 Batch 'B' Stream II.

NYSC Notice To Prospective Corps Members

This is to notify the general public that the Management of the National Youth Service Corps has approved that all 2016 Batch A Prospective Corps Members who missed Stream I orientation exercise can now join stream II.

Note that the affected prospective Corps members are directed to go online and reprint their call-up letters.

However, note that the new call-up letter should bear the new date.

They refer their victims to a link and ask them to enter their login details as well as choices made during their online registration.

1.Hard-to-rectify mistakes during registration. Please take note and try to avoid them during registration:

a. Registration by proxy: affected PCM can not register at camp because the biometrics is not his/hers

b. Mixed up registration: some cyber cafe operators have the habit of registering more than one persons at a time in one computer by opening 2 or more tabs on the same browser. This causes mix-up in the PCMs information which is hard to rectify. We advise you to sit with the person registering you and make sure he doesn't register another person at
