UNIPORT 2015/2016 Post-HND (B.Eng) Admission

This is to inform the general public that the applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the POST-HND Programme of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Port Harcourt for the 2015/2016 session.

1. OBJECTIVE

The Programme is aimed at upgrading and strengthening the academic background of holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering Discipline, so as to improve their managerial skills and engineering competence and efficiency on their job, as well as ensure their enhanced industrial productivity.

The Programme leads to the award of Bachelor of Engineering [B.ENG] Degree in any of the following Engineering fields:

(i). Chemical Engineering

(ii). Civil Engineering

(iii). Electrical/Electronic Engineering

The UNIPORT New VC's Son Kidnapped

nigerianedu.com got information that the son of the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the university of Port-harcourt Prof. Ndowa Laale, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen

This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, William Wordi .

According to the statement made available to news men, the VC's son was kidnapped about 7.pm Monday night in his father's compound at Ebubu, Eleme in Rivers State.

Rivers State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident at the time of filing this report.

Deadline And Screening Date For Basic Programme Application Of UNIPORT Is Postponed

We are to inform all the general public that the University of Port harcourt has extended the deadline for the 2015 Basic Programme Application. The new deadline is October 6th, 2015.
