Universities And their Accreditation Status For Law Programme

Update as the Council of Legal education has released a list of accredited universities and approved faculties of Law in Nigeria. The list which was signed its Secretary and Director of Administration of the Council revealed that only University of Lagos (UNILAG) has full accreditation to offer Law among public and private universities in the country.

Twenty seven others have Provisional Accreditation; five have Interim accreditation while 19 others have approval to only commence the programme.

UNIPORT 2017/2018 Admission Into Diploma In Law Update

The management of University of Port-harcourt (UNIPORT) admission into Diploma In Law has been announced. 

Duration of Programme

The Diploma in Law Programme is a Continuing Education Programme and will run for two academic sessions; each session divided into two semesters.

Students having no more than five courses to repeat or clear at the end of the second year will be allowed a maximum of one additional academic session to do so, bringing the maximum duration of the programme to three academic sessions (six semesters).
