Latest news as the National Association of Nigerian Students has condemned the the barbaric the use of force by the police in addressing a protest by unarmed students, which led to the death of one student of Nassarawa State Polytechnic Lafia and injuring many others.
Base on report on our desk It was learnt that it all started when a detachment of police fired shots at students staging a peaceful protest at the gate of the institution.
The president of the association described this as barbaric and call
on the relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served.
He equally called for the immediate reopening of the institution, and assured that the union will this week pay a visit to the school to ensure that peace and normal academic activities resume in the institution.
