Latest news has it that the Association of Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has once again stated that the union will have no option but to embark in a strike action if the Federal Government refuses to address various industrial issues in the sector as all it efforts to meet the government to look into their demands have failed.
Rport gathered according to the President of ASUP, Comrade Usman Yusuf Dutse, since the suspension of the protracted strike in 2014, the Federal Government is yet to
address some of the core issues that necessitated the strike.
He urged the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency address these issues in order to avoid another nationwide industrial action.
