News has it that about 995 students of the Federal Polytechnic Bida will during the 14th combined convocation ceremony of the Federal Polytechnic Bida graduate with distinctions at National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma(HND) levels.
It was disclosed by the Rector of the institution, Dr Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi during a press briefing ahead of the convocation ceremony which comes up this weekend.
Report has it that the Rector condemned the dichotomy that still exists between HND holders and their university counterpart describing it as unnecessary and not appropriate for
a Nation's economy.
In his words he said, in developed economies, the HND graduates drive the economy.
