university of Lagos are agitating over the refusal of the university to
releases their results.
According to some of the candidates that commented, there was a power outage during the examination which automatically logged them out and was not rectified. This they believe must have been the reason for their results being withheld.
While reacting to this the Head, Information Unit of the university, Mr. Olagoke Oke agreed that there was a power outage bu insisted that it was restored and
the candidates were given extra time to finish their exams.
“It (outage) was a general complaint. Power was restored and they were given extra time. About 32,000 candidates sat for the examination. Some candidates had problems because they were not familiar with online tests. Some were challenged because there was no paper test. All the results were released except for the results of less than 200 candidates,” he said.
