This is to inform you that 73 students of Yaba College of Technology have been expelled by the Academic Board of the institution for result forgery.
A statement issued in this regard and signed by the Deputy Registrar of the college, Mrs Titilayo Obadimu has it that the affected students who were those pursuing part-time programmes for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma were registered in the 2013/2014 academic session.
The case of result forgery was discovered the verification exercise of Senior Secondary School Certificates and National Diploma results.
It said further stated that 46 students for National Diploma and
27 students for Higher National Diploma were affected.
“All affected students are advised to hand the property of the college in their possession, including student identity cards, to their various heads of department, the librarian and the dean of students’ affairs with immediate effect,’’ it said.
The head of Public Relations Unit of the college, Mr Charles Oni, used the opportunity to warn prospective students to steer clear of malpractices, including results’ forgery.
