Two Lecturers of the Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro have lost their jobs
following what was described as gross misconduct and extortion by the
lecturers.
The two lecturers according to reports were found guilty of extorting money from students for project supervision.
While responding to this, the rector of the institution, , Dr. Jacob Oboreh, mentioned that the action to terminate the appointments of the lecturers was solely based on the decision of the governing council of the institution after thorough investigation.
According to the governing council, the termination of their appointments took effect from January 2, 2015.
