Few days after suspected cultist hacked a 300-level student of the
Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Physical Sciences to death, a
similar incident has occurred.
Another 300L student of University of Benin in the department of
Vocational and Technical Education has been shot dead by suspected
cultist on Monday Night.
The victim identified as James was said to be going home after watching a
football match at one of the viewing centres in Ekosodin community a
town mainly inhabited by students when he was attacked.
He was quickly rushed to the hospital after the incident but was
declared dead on arrival. Evidence shows he was shot at close range as
the head was badly smashed.
