NSUK Postgraduate Registration Guidelines 2014/2015

Below are guidelines for registration of old and new postgraduate students for the 2014/2015 session;

RETURNING STUDENTS
Registration Period: Monday 27th October – Friday 7th November, 2014

Late Registration (Additional Fees of N10,000.00k): Monday 10th – Friday 14th November, 2014.

Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night on 14th November, 2014 and returning students will only be allowed to check registered courses. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.


Steps for Registration

Paying School Fees
Students on arrival should visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng, under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees, then select Undergraduate/Postgraduate Fees, wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your Matriculation/ICTPG Number, and click on Get Fee Detail. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:

Diamond Bank, UBA, Ecobank PLC, First Bank, Unity Bank, Mainstreet Bank, Keystone Bank, FCMB, and Zenith Bank

Note: You will be required to pay additional fees of

Portal Access and Internet Charges = 2,000
Transaction Charges = 300

Upon successful payment at the bank, you will be given a payment slip which contains a confirmation number. Return to the portal with this and follow the procedure above. Select the e-tranzact Pin Vending option and click on pay fees. This will take you to a page, enter the confirmation number and click on verify. After your payment has been verified, you will be required to print your school fees receipt and also a PIN will be automatically generated for you with which you will be required to use in Step 2.

Profile Update and Course Form Registration

Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Portal Login under Current Students use the combination of your Matriculation/ICTPG Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be.

Please, make sure you keep your PIN as it will be required for your session long access to the Portal.

NEW STUDENTS(Freshers)
Registration Period: Monday 27th October – Friday 7th November, 2014

Late Registration (Additional Fees of N10,000.00k): Monday 10th – Friday 14th November, 2014.

Steps for Registration

1.(i) Students on arrival should visit University Website: nsuk.edu.ng, under the Prospective Students Tab, click on Downloads. Select Postgraduate and enter your Applicant ID, then press enter. You will be required to print your Clearance/Pre-registration Form.

(ii) Proceed to your department with the following alongside your Clearance/Pre-registration Form:

Original Copies of all credentials
Other relevant academic documents

(iii) Make sure you are properly screened at the Department, before proceeding to PG School for Final Clearance.

Paying School Fees
On www.nsuk.edu.ng, under Current Students tab, click on Pay School Fees, then select Undergraduate/Postgraduate Fees, wait for the page to load. Read the instructions carefully and at the end of the page, click on Pay Fees Now. Again, wait for the page to load and Enter your Matriculation/ICTPG Number, and click on Get Fee Detail. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:

Profile Update and Course Form Registration
Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Portal Login under Current Students use the combination of your APPLICANT ID and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be. Print every other required form including your Student Information Form.

NB: Please, make sure you are properly screened before paying fees as there will be no refund after payment has been made.

Please, make sure you keep your PIN as it will be required for your session long access to the Portal.

Printing of Admission Letter
Follow the procedure in Step 1(i), click on Admission Letter, you will be prompted to enter a PIN, enter the PIN you acquired in Step 2 and print your Admission Letter.

Note that this PIN will be active for Admission Letter printing 24hours after printing of school fees receipt.

Proceed to Postgraduate School to obtain your student files and copy of items to be submitted with the file.
