Nigerian Graduates are Morally Deficient - NOA DG

Mike Omeri, the Director of National Orientation Agency has bemoaned the quality of graduates turned out each year by the country’s tertiary institutions.

According to him, ethical and moral rectitude which is supposed to be exhibited by a graduate is lacking in many of our graduates today and this has negatively impacted our economy.

Mike Omeri, represented by Director, Planning, Research and Statistics at the agency, Barrister Bennert Tagwai made this known during the re-orientation programme organized by the College of Education, Minna, Niger State.

In his words, "The concern of institutions of higher learning should be, in addition to academic excellence, the genuineness of character and moral uprightness of its products."

“Failure to do this is has resulted in a crisis "where all forms of social vices have expression,” he said.
