The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua wishes to inform the general
public about the few challenges being faced in the deployment of the new
portal technology being used for students’ registration.
Based on this, all students are hereby informed that the general payment
schedule as generated on the portal remain applicable. The variations
that emerge as a result of the 25% subsidy provided on the students’ fee
by the state government shall be enjoyed by all to whom it applies.
However, students are to understand that
fees payable during
registration vary from department to department based on course offered.
Efforts have been put in place to ensure that all necessary variations
arising from over or under payments are adequately addressed.
Students with any complaint are advised to contact the Directorate of
Information & Communications Technology for clarification.
Meanwhile, there will be no surcharge on late registration until these problems are resolved.
Even as lectures will commence on Monday, 12th May 2014, registration will continue.
