The National Universities Commission, NUC, has approved the Part Time
Programmes of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, for the 2014/2015 Academic
Session.
According to the approval statement released by the Commission, only
part time (CEP) programmes under the faculties of Arts, Education and
Biological Sciences shall be operated by Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka
during the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
The following programmes received the
approval of NUC:
*B.A. English Language
*B.A. Philosophy
*B.A. Religion and Human relations
*B.A. Linguistics
*B.A. History and International studies
*B.A. Igbo, African and Asia studies
*B.A. Modern and European Languages
*B. Sc. Microbiology
*B. Sc Biochemistry
*B. Sc (Ed) Human Kinetics and Health Education
*B. Ed Adult Education
*B. Sc (Ed) Science Education
*B. Sc (Ed) Library and Information science
*B. Ed. Guidance and counselling
*B. Ed. Educational Foundation
*B. Ed. Educational Management and policy
*B. Ed. Early Childhood and Primary education.
During a brief interview, A staff working at The Continuous Education
Programme, CEP, office of the institution disclosed that 2014/2015 CEP
admission forms shall available before the end of February 2014.
Recall that the NUC has before now, suspended all part time admissions of various federal universities in Nigeria.
