At its Special Meeting held on Friday 20th December, 2013, the Senate of
Umaru Musa Yar’adua University approved the review of the 2012/2013
Academic calendar for the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes as
follows:
Undergraduate Programmes Except LLB
December 18, 2013 - Recall students
December 23, 2013 - Resumption of lectures
February 3, 2014 - Second semester exams start for 200 and 400level.
February 14, 2014 - Second semester exams end for 200 and 400 level.
February 17, 2014 - Second semester exam start for 100 and 300 level.
February 28, 2014 - Second semester exam end for 100 and 300 level.
March 1st, 2014 - End of 2012/2013 Academic session.
April 14, 2014 - Commencement of the 2013/2014 Academic Session.
Postgraduate Programmes
December 18, 2013 - Recall students
December 23, 2013 - Resumption of lectures
March 17, 2014 - Second semester exam start
March 27, 2014 - Second semester exam end
March 28, 2014 - End of 2012/2013 Academic session
April 14, 2014 - Commencement of 2013/2014 Academic session.
REVIEW OF THE ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR LLB PROGRAMME
At its Special Meeting held on 20th December, 2013, the Senate of Umaru
Musa Yar’adua University approved the merger of the 2012/2013 and the
2013/2014 session and the review of the Academic calendar for the LLB
programme as follows:
January 06, 2014 - Recall students to the 2013/2014 Academic session.
January 14, 2014 - Lectures begin for first semester
April 28, 2014 - First semester exams start
May 09, 2014 - First semester exams end
May 10, 2014 - First semester break
June 02, 2014 - Lectures begin for second semester
September 22, 2014 - Second semester exams start
October 03, 2014 - Second semester exams end
October 04, 2014 - End of 2013/2014 Academic session
November 03, 2014 - Commencement of the 2014/2015 Academic session.
