His Excellency, Comrade Hillary Ugwu the SUG PRESIDENT in reaction to Monday's resumption, said;
"The decision by the university management to reopen for the 2013/2014
academic session was predicated on the directive of the federal
government to all universities particularly federal universities to
reopen academic activities on or before 4th December 2013.
It should be noted therefore that the The University Management is only complying with the Federal Government's directives."
What do you have to say about this reaction from the SUG President?
To us it creates some doubt whether lectures will actually commence as
stated by the Vice Chancellor. This is because the Vice Chancellor
cannot force lecturers back to the classrooms.
