This is to inform you that the lecturers of Imo State University are currently on strike.
The strike as we learnt is as a result of non-payment of lecturers for about 2 months now.
The lecturers were said to have had a meeting on May 7th during which
they unanimously voted for an indefinite strike until their salaries are
paid.

IMSU Postpones 2014/2015 Matriculation
This is to inform all the IMSU candidates that the management of Imo State University has postponed the 2014/2015 matriculation ceremony.
The ceremony which was earlier scheduled to hold on February 6th, 2015 ( Today) will now hold on February 7th, 2015 ( Tomorrow).
The public is invited.

IMSU Pre-degree 1st Admission List 2014/2015 Released
This is to inform the general public that the first batch of admission
list into pre degree programmes 2014/2015 of the Imo State University
has been released.
Students are advised to go to the school admission unit and check their names.
More lists are expected soon.

IMSU Resumes Jan. 6th for Old Students, and 20th for New Intakes
The Imo State University (IMSU) Re-opens for the continuation of her abandoned 2012/2013 session today, January 6, 2014.
By this announcement, all returning full time students of the university are to resume immediately as lectures are to kick-off at once.
Meanwhile, the university doors shall be opened to all newly admitted IMSU Stars as from 20th of January, 2014.
Freshers are therefore reminded of the need to get their documents ready for clearance and registration into their chosen academic programmes.

online.
