Rescheduled Of FUTO Direct Entry Registration Deadline And Screening Date

We nigerianedu.com is to inform all FUTO 2015 eligible Direct Entry Applicants that the registration date has been extended till Friday, September 25, 2015.

Also, the screening exercise has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, September 29, 2015.

FUTO hereby directs candidates to reprint their Application form and Photo card to see their newly assigned examination details.

Candidates are therefore advised to do so as soon as possible to verify their new screening schedule.

This is to inform all concerned that the Postgraduate School of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri has released the first batch of Postgraduate admissions for 2014/2015 Session.

Candidates are expected to visit pgapply.futo.edu.ng to check admission status. Short listed candidates should visit to any of the collecting banks and pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Forty Thousand Naira (N40,000.00), excluding bank charges. The collecting banks are as follows:

FUTO- Compulsory Course Revalidation Exercise

The compulsory revalidation of students’ course registration being carried out by FUTO-ICT Centre has taken off in full swing.

The returning and newly admitted undergraduate students are reminded to visit the ICT Centre or the University Computer Centre (UCC) to complete the course revalidation exercise.

FUTO Compulsory Revalidation of Students’ Course Registration

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre is carrying out a re-validation exercise of students’ course registration. This is in pursuance of the Vice Chancellor’s directive that FUTO students should have their Class List and semester academic transcripts as at when due.

Students are hereby reminded that the university regulations require that students must first register for courses in order to attend lectures and write examinations on such courses.

This implies that any student, who fails to complete the ongoing course registration revalidation exercise, within the stipulated period, would not be allowed to attend lectures or write examinations on any courses he or she didn’t register for.

It is therefore in the best interest of every student to ensure his or her participation and successful completion of the course registration re-validation exercise within the stipulated period.

This is to inform the general public that the Federal University of Technology has commenced sales of application form for admission into its pre-degree programmes for the 2014/2015 academic session.

The Federal University of Technology,Owerri 2nd semester examination for 2014/2015 session scheduled to initially hold on the 15th of September has been postponed.

The examination will now commence from 22nd of September.

FUTO Mourns the Death of a Senior Lecturer

The death has been announced of a senior lecturer,
Dr. Sikiru Lamina of the Department of Biomedical Technology, Federal University of Technology Owerri FUTO).

The deceased who was tipped to be the next head of his department before his death was described as a mentor and a source of inspiration to many especially students.

The entire FUTO community has described the unfortunate incident as a great loss and prayed for the repose of his soul.
