AAUA New Vice Chancellor Announced

 

The government of Ondo State has appointed Prof. Igbeleke Ajibefun as the new Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA).

This followed the expiration of the tenure of Prof. Olufemi Mimiko as the VC of AAUA.

Before the appointment of Prof. Ajibefun he was the Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), a polytechnic owned by the state.

Prof Ajibefun is a First Class Honours graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

He began his academic career in 1993 as an assistant lecturer, from where he rose to become an Associate Professor in October, 2006.

He bagged his M.Sc and PhD degrees at the University of Ibadan and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, respectively.

AAUA Lecturer Becomes the 1st CLS Ph.D graduate in Malaysia

A lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Languages, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, Dr. Boluwaji Oshodi, has set a record of becoming the first Ph.D. graduate and winning the inaugural award for the best postgraduate presentation of the Centre for Language Studies, CLS, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, UNIMAS.

In a statement, the UNIMAS Deputy Dean, Postgraduate and Research, Florence Gillian Kayad, congratulated Dr. Oshodi on the successful completion of his postgraduate programme.

Kayad added, “I also wish to commend you for being a worthy ambassador, an outstanding and exemplary student who laid a solid foundation for current and prospective postgraduate students at the

AAUA Notice on Pre-Degree Examination Date & Closure of the Sales of Form 2014/2015.

This is to inform prospective Pre-degree candidates of Adekunke Ajasin University Akungba that Registration and sales of Pre-Degree form closes Wednesday 31st December, 2014.

Candidates that have registered should be informed that the examination date has been scheduled to hold as follows:
(a) Wednesday 7th January, 2015 for Pre-Degree Agric. Science, Science and Science Education

(b) Thursday 8th January, 2015 for Pre-Degree Arts, Arts Education, Social Science and Social Science Education.

(c) Friday 9th January, 2015 for those with problematic issues.

AAUA Deadline for Pre-degree Sales of Form 2014/2015 Extended

This is to inform the general public that the new deadline for sales of pre-degree admission form is 21st December, 2014.
