The newly established state University in Kafin-Hausa in Jigawa State
has received provisional approval for 15 of its degree courses.
The Vice chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ribadu, Vice Chancellor disclosed
this while on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Gumel, Alhaji Ahmed
Muhammed-Sani, in Gumel today.
According to the VC the aim of the courtesy visit was to
seek the support of the Emir for the development of the university.
The Emir in response promised to give all necessary support to the
university also enjoined youth to embrace university education which he
said is important for them to make progress in life.
