Kwara State Poly Aspirants Protest non-inclusion of their Names in the Admission List

It was learnt that some candidates who applied for admission into Kwara state Polytechnic are protested the non-inclusion of their names in the recently released 2014/2015 admission list.

The protesters barricaded the gate of the institution hindering smooth vehicular and human movement around the area.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Kwara State Command, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi 13 of the protesters have been arrested by the police.

Reacting to this, the Deputy Registrar, Information and Publications Division, Mr. Moshood Amuda in a statement said the Polytechnic management was disturbed by the action of the protesters as admission was given on merit.
