A senior Lecturer of the Federal Polytechnic Offa , Adeniyi Adebowale
was last Thursday killed in his car by a violent flood resulting from
the heavy rainfall that fell that day in Oke Gada community, in Ede, the
headquarters of Ede North local government area of Osun State.
According to report the 45-year old lecturer of the Department of
Computer Science was coming back home and was already close to his
residence when the daring flood immersed the car he was in.
It was learnt that the deceased was warned by other road users against
using the swampy road but he objected before the ugly incident happened.
The corpse has since been deposited in a mortuary.
